Microchip MCP647X/8X/9X family of low-power, general-purpose operational amplifiers

Microchip Technology introduced the MCP647X/8X/9X family of low-power, general-purpose operational amplifiers. The nine-member op amp family is available now for sampling and volume production. Prices start at $0.49 each in 5,000-unit quantities. The MCP6471, MCP6481 and MCP6491 are offered in 5-pin SC70 and SOT-23 packages. The MCP6472, MCP6482 and MCP6492 are available in 8-pin SOIC, TDFN and MSOP packages. The MCP6474, MCP6484 and MCP6494 are available in 14-pin SOIC and TSSOP packages.

Microchip Offers UNI/O EEPROMs in Wafer-Level Chip-Scale, TO-92 Packages

Microchip Technology Inc., a leading provider of microcontroller and analog semiconductors, announced that its single-I/O bus UNI/O® EEPROM devices are now available in miniature, Wafer-Level Chip-Scale and TO-92 packages, in addition to the 3-pin SOT-23 package. Measuring at 0.85 mm x 1.38 mm, the Wafer-Level Chip-Scale Package (WLCSP) is approximately the size of a die, and can support a manufacturing flow using standard pick-and-place machines. The long-leaded, 3-pin TO-92 package is commonly used when the manufacturing flow is a hand-assembly process, or when it is mounted directly on cable assemblies.
