Elsevier recently published seven new titles in the area of Electrical Engineering and Communications. The titles of the books are Optical Fiber Telecommunications Volume VIA, Optical Fiber Telecommunications Volume VIB, Electromagnetic Surface Waves: A Modern Perspective, Op Amps for Everyone, Intelligent Systems for Security Informatics, Advances in Analog and RF IC Design for Wireless Communication Systems, and System Parameter Identification: Information Criteria and Algorithms.
Microchip Technology introduced the MCP647X/8X/9X family of low-power, general-purpose operational amplifiers. The nine-member op amp family is available now for sampling and volume production. Prices start at $0.49 each in 5,000-unit quantities. The MCP6471, MCP6481 and MCP6491 are offered in 5-pin SC70 and SOT-23 packages. The MCP6472, MCP6482 and MCP6492 are available in 8-pin SOIC, TDFN and MSOP packages. The MCP6474, MCP6484 and MCP6494 are available in 14-pin SOIC and TSSOP packages.
Microchip Technology introduced the MCP6H7X, MCP6H8X and MCP6H9X operational amplifier families. The three new op amp families are low-power, general-purpose devices that expand the range to 12V supply voltages. All nine members of the new Microchip MCP6H7X/8X/9X op amp families are available in single, dual and quad configurations.
Texas Instruments launched the OPA1662 and OPA1664 bipolar-input audio operational amplifiers. The TI op amps are ideal for USB and FireWire audio systems, analog and digital mixers, portable recording systems, and other applications that require the highest noise performance combined with low power consumption. The dual-channel OPA1662 is available now in SO-8 and MSOP-8 packages for $0.95 in 1,000-unit quantities. The quad-channel OPA1664 is available in SO-14 and TSSOP-14 packages for $1.45 (1,000-unit quantities).
Microchip Technology introduced the MCP6V2X operational amplifiers family. The MCP6V2X op amps feature self-correcting auto-zero architecture, input offset voltage of 2 microvolts, gain bandwidth product of 2 MHz, low noise of 50 nV/root Hz, and 2.3V to 5.5V operating voltage. The Microchip MCP6V2X is 8-pin MSOP package. The chip is ideal for applications in the consumer, industrial and medical markets, such as sensor and signal conditioning and instrumentation.
