Texas Instruments announced the 3-A TPS7H1101-SP and the 0.5-A TPS7H1201-HT current-sharing low-dropout linear voltage regulators. The TI devices are the first LDO linear voltage regulators for harsh environments. The TI TPS7H1101-SP and the TPS7H1201-HT are available now in a 16-pin thermally enhanced ceramic flat pack (CFP).
Texas Instruments announced the LP5907 and LP38798 low-dropout linear voltage regulators. The 250-mA LP5907 and 800-mA LP38798 LDOs offer great noise and power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) performance in very small, easy-to-use packages. The TI LP5907 and LP39798 devices are available in volume now. Offered in 5-pin SOT-23, 4-pin micro SMD and 4-pin DSBGA packages, the LP5907 is priced at $0.23 in 1,000-unit quantities. The LP39798 is offered in a 12-pin WSON package with thermal pad and is price at $1.30.
