Mentor Graphics to Open Source BridgePoint UML Editor

Mentor Graphics will place the front-end UML editor of their BridgePoint xtUML environment into the open source domain. The availability of BridgePoint as an open source editor will enable the industry’s movement from static UML diagrams and paper-based processes to executable model-driven flows. Over time, Mentor Graphics expects the BridgePoint open source UML editor to become the de facto standard for UML trainers and educators.

SPEculative and Exploratory Design in Systems Engineering Project

The four-year SPEEDS (SPEculative and Exploratory Design in Systems Engineering) project, funded under the European Union’s 6th Framework Programme, has come to a highly successful conclusion. The SPEEDS project has resulted in the definition of a novel end-to-end design methodology, process and tool environment for model-based safety-critical embedded systems that significantly improves design quality while reducing both design cycle times and costs.

Artisan Helps Standardize Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF

Westinghouse Rail Systems Selects Artisan Studio for SIL4 Validation
