dSPACE, VaST Simulate Automotive Software on Virtual Hardware Platforms

dSPACE GmbH and VaST announced a collaboration to simulate automotive and AUTOSAR-compliant software on virtual hardware platforms. The goal of the collaboration is to closely couple dSPACE's automotive software development tools TargetLink and SystemDesk with VaST's virtualization tools COMET® and METeor®. Users of these tools can replace hardware prototypes with virtual system prototypes to simulate and validate automotive software applications on early in the design flow.

Infinisim Rolls Out RASER Simulator for Mixed-Signal Designs

Infinisim, Inc., a privately funded EDA startup announces RASER, a simulator specifically designed for mixed-signal ICs. RASER guarantees SPICE accurate results with an average of 50 times speedup and capacity for large mixed-signal circuits. RASER is the first simulator in the market that does not trade off accuracy for capacity and performance.

Agilent Introduces HiSIM_HV Model Extraction Package for IC-CAP

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE:A) announced the release of the HiSIM_HV Model Extraction Package for advanced high voltage metal oxide semiconductor (HVMOS) device models. The package, for use with Agilent's Integrated Circuit Characterization and Analysis Program (IC-CAP) software platform, provides an easy-to-use, efficient and customizable method for measuring and extracting accurate parameter values for the HiSIM_HV device model.
