OMG Reveals Topics for BPM Think Tank 2008

The Object Management Group[tm] (OMG[tm]), in partnership with BPTrends, announced the Roundtable topics for the BPM Think Tank 2008 event, which will be held October 6-7, 2008 at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare in Chicago, IL, USA. BPM Think Tank 2008 attendees will participate in at least three unique, highly interactive BPM Roundtables over the course of two days. These roundtables are small, interactive group sessions moderated by subject matter experts who will introduce the topic and move on to the group discussion that uniquely characterizes BPM Think Tank.

Cypress Announces Touchscreen Webinar for System Designers

Inphi Announces DDR3 Clock Reference Board Webinar

UTSA CAMLS Holds Radio Frequency Identification Workshop

The University of Texas at San Antonio's Center for Advanced Manufacturing & Lean Systems (CAMLS), housed in the College of Engineering, recently partnered with the San Antonio Manufacturers Association and held a one-day Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Workshop. RFID is an automatic identification technology that stores and remotely retrieves data using devices called RFID tags or transponders. RFID tags are objects that can be applied to or incorporated into a product, animal, or person for the purpose of identification using radio waves.

SemiSouth Laboratories to Discuss Power Factor Correction with SiC JFET

SemiSouth Laboratories Inc., a silicon carbide (SiC) based semiconductor company, along with the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems (CAVS) at Mississippi State University, will discuss the characteristics of SemiSouth's normally-off, SiC JFET in power factor correction applications based on the drop-in replacement results of a normally-off SiC JFET for an IGBT in a PFC demo circuit. CAVS provided guidance and precision test equipment required to measure and validate results.

TechInsights Announces Embedded Power Conference
