McObject eXtremeDB 4.5 In-Memory Database System

McObject has released version 4.5 of their eXtremeDB In-Memory Database System (IMDS). eXtremeDB v4.5 embedded database features a new Java application programming interface (API), improved SQL and High Availability interfaces, more efficient and scalable versions of popular database indexes, and an integration option with third-party message router hardware to accelerate communication in fault-tolerant eXtremeDB High Availability deployments.

ITTIA DB SQL Database for Android Devices

ITTIA DB SQL offers high-throughput write operations, large data set scalability, in-memory table performance, and synchronize with other devices and back-end databases. McObject eXtremeDB Cluster Distributed Database for Real-Time Applications

C#/.NET Framework API for McObject eXtremeDB In-Memory Database System

McObject announced a C#/.NET Framework application programming interface (API) for their eXtremeDB In-Memory Database System (IMDS). The interface lets developers work naturally with eXtremeDB entirely within C#’s object-oriented domain. The C#/.NET API reduces development time and accelerates performance across software categories, from real-time enterprise systems to embedded solutions. The new eXtremeDB API relies on C#’s reflection capability to discover database classes and their fields that are defined by the application, in the class definition syntax.

McObject Supports Perst Embedded Database for Microsoft Windows Phone 7

In a classic example of the market driving the direction of a software product, McObject® announced it is offering support for its Perst[tm] object-oriented, open source embedded database on Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 (WP7) smartphone platform, after Windows mobile software experts in the UK ported Perst (along with McObject’s related Silverlight demo) to WP7, and a Microsoft executive guiding WP7 developer relations described the port as “epic.”
