Conexant KX1400 Audio Playback Chip

Conexant Systems introduced the KX1400 audio playback chip. The KX1400 IC can play 8KHz audio data directly to an external speaker via an on-chip digital audio processor and class-D driver. A complete, self-contained evaluation kit with reference board and all the necessary technical documents and software is available now. The Conexant KX1400 is priced at $1.56 in 100 quantities. The KX1400 is ideal for audio playback of pre-recorded data for vending machines, toys, pedestrian crossing signage and interactive kiosks.
