Microchip SST11CP15 RF Power Amplifier

Microchip Technology introduced their SST11CP15 RF power amplifier. The SST11CP15 amp features an output power of 23 dBm at mask compliance of 6 Mbps (at 3.3V) and high linear output power of 18 dBm at 2.5% EVM, using 802.11a OFDM 54 Mbps at 3.3V, and 20 dBm at 5.0V. The SST11CP15 RF power amplifier is available now in a 2 mm x 2 mm x .55 mm, 12-pin QFN package for $0.66 each (10,000-unit quantities). The Microchip chip is ideal for 5 GHz IEEE 802.11a/n WLAN embedded applications.
