Portwell CAR-4010 Network Security Appliance

American Portwell Technology introduced the CAR-4010 rackmount network security appliance. The CAR-4010 features the Intel C206 chipset, dual-channel DDR3 1333/1066 memory (up to 8GB), up to two SATA HDD or SSD, and eight GbE RJ45 onboard ports (or four GbE SFP and four GbE RJ45). The Portwell CAR-4010 1U communication appliance is ideal for network security applications (such as firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, anti-spam, anti-virus and UTM), and network management applications (such as routers, RAS gateways, QoS, server load-balance, wireless controllers, medical DICOM and PACS, and industrial automation control via Ethernet TCP/IP).
