VectorCAST Test Solution Supports Cosmic STM8 Compiler

Vector Software, the leading provider of software test tools for embedded systems, announced support for the Cosmic STM8 compiler. Previous versions of VectorCAST had already supported the Cosmic compiler for HCS12. Test execution is provided through the Cosmic ZAP Simulator, as well as through the ST Visual Develop (STVD), an STMicroelectronics product.

Revision of IEEE 1850 Property Specification Language Receives Approval

The IEEE has approved a new revision of the IEEE 1850[tm], “Standard for PSL: Property Specification Language.” The standard provides a language for formal specification of electronic system behavior. The new revision refines the standard, addresses errata and technical issues, and adds extensions related to property reuse and improved simulation usability.
