Mentor Graphics Corp. (NASDAQ: MENT), the leader in advanced system verification solutions, announced that Trident Microsystems, a leader in high-performance semiconductor system solutions for the multimedia and digital television markets, has adopted Mentor’s Veloce® platform for the complete system-level verification of its next-generation digital TV SoC chips. Trident chose the Veloce platform due to its superior compiler and debug technologies, performance, accuracy, and innovative portfolio of iSolve[tm] vertical market solutions for the verification of their multimedia-based designs.
