Altia HMI Software Tools Support Alizem Motor Control IP
Altia Inc. announced that its HMI software tools now provide advanced touch-screen development capability for home appliances developed with Altera Corporation’s (NASDAQ: ALTR) energy-efficient motor-control solutions. Altia software tools enable appliance developers to easily create exciting, easy-to-use touch screens for users to manipulate high tech energy-saving functions without programming graphics.
Altia prototypes can be integrated with a simulation model and shared with customers, focus groups, managers and between development teams. Testing and validation of simulation models occur without the cost to mock-up hardware. The ease of use and overall user acceptance of prototypes can be confirmed early in development. Once complete, the Altia prototype can be converted to deployable C code with Altia DeepScreen® Code Generator. The resulting graphics code can be deployed directly into an Altera Cyclone® family FPGA.
Alizem’s Motor-Control IP provides enhanced motor-control capabilities that help home appliance designers create highly differentiated products.
