EDA front-end analog design DFY specialist Infiniscale announced that it has joined Synopsys’ HSPICE® Integrator Program. Infiniscale is releasing an updated flow providing greater productivity and predictability when using Infiniscale in conjunction with Synopsys leading edge tool set. Infiniscale (Grenoble – France) provides software solutions that do address parametrical Yield challenges thanks to its innovative behavioral modeling technology. Through the HSPICE Integrator Program, Infiniscale has access to Synopsys’ market leading analog simulator HSPICE and offers a smooth interoperable design flow between LYSIS[tm] and Synopsys’ products for the benefit of mutual customers.

“Circuit designers continue to trust the HSPICE simulator for their silicon accurate process variation analysis needs,” said Karen Bartleson, director of Interoperability at Synopsys. “Thanks to the HSPICE Integrator Program, mutual customers will benefit from the tight integration between InfiniScale’s Design For Yield software solutions and Synopsys’ HSPICE Simulator.”

“We are delighted to be part of the HSPICE Integrator Program,” said Firas Mohamed InfiniScale’s CEO. “With today’s technology concerns and ever increasing yield challenges it becomes extremely important for the analog designers to address design for yield in the most effective way. We are very excited to collaborate with Synopsys to deliver our unique and efficient model-based sizing and DFY solution to the HSPICE community.”

The HSPICE Integrator Program establishes relationships between Synopsys and other EDA vendors to enable customers to easily build flows that harness the power and accuracy of HSPICE.
