Actel Announces Space Forum

Actel Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTL) announced plans to hold its fourth Actel Space Forum, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to the space industry. The forum will provide knowledge and understanding of how to optimize space applications using Actel’s highly reliable field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). Since 1985, Actel has been the leader in radiation-tolerant FPGAs. With a long tradition of providing firm-error immune solutions for unparalleled reliability, Actel’s RTAX FPGAs are the best choice for designers of space-flight systems to get their designs off the ground.

The topics of the Wednesday, December 3, 2008 forum in Los Angeles include: FPGA, development tool and IP roadmaps for space; Design techniques to optimize power consumption, timing performance and available device resources; Strategic partner presentations focusing on solutions for Actel space products; Radiation, qualification and reliability updates. Additional Actel Space Forums will be held in Europe and Asia in early 2009. Dates and locations will be announced at a later time.
