Full-day, hands-on workshops to help engineers create differentiated devices for a broad range of applications, including commercial and consumer electronic products, are being hosted by Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW), with the first being held in Los Angeles today. The workshops will be held in 11 cities and feature how to build Windows® Embedded CE 6.0 applications and images running on ARM platforms, as well as how to bring those new devices to market quickly.

Training is presented by Arrow and Logic Product Development, a Microsoft® Windows Embedded Gold Partner. Leading industry suppliers Atmel, Texas Instruments and Freescale Semiconductor will present individual sessions on their state-of-the-art ARM designs during the workshops.

"The Arrow Technical Solutions Forums are designed to provide real-world solutions to complex engineering designs, with sessions that are much more interactive than standard seminars," said David West, vice president of engineering and new business development at Arrow.

The technical forums will run through October.
