AXIOMTEK Introduces eBOX639-822-FL Fanless Embedded System

AXIOMTEK unveils the eBOX639-822-FL, a fanless application-ready embedded system with unique anti-vibration mechanism design (1Grms with HDD), excellent thermal solution (-10°C ~ 50°C with Intel® Pentium® M 2.0GHz and wide-temperature HDD), and optimized expandability. The eBOX639-822-FL is designed with powerful Intel® 910GMLE and ICH6-M chipset and supports Intel based processors in ether BGA or PGA packaging, including ULV Intel® Celeron® M processor at 1GHz/0KB and socket-type Intel® Pentium® M up to 2.0GHz / Celeron® M processors. The integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 900 provides enhanced graphics and 3D performance. The super compact fanless system is a powerful all-in-one box PC specially designed for industrial automation, digital signage (DSA), gaming industry, entertainment, and vehicle applications.

For convenient assembly, this fanless unit adopts special design featuring easy access to the PCI sockets; customer can install or replace their PCI cards without open the whole box. This durable embedded box computer also supports one 2.5″ hard disk for high-capacity storage and two DDR2 400MHz DIMM sockets up to 2GB system memory. Without a fan and enclosed in an extremely rugged aluminum housing only 182 x 230 x 130.8 mm (7.17″ x 9.06″ x 5.15″) in size, this durable embedded system can be wall mounted in the space-limited environments.

The eBOX639-822-FL is an all-in-one embedded computer featuring rich I/O connectors include six COM ports, six USB 2.0 ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, PS/2 ports, printer port, Audio, and VGA, and is equipped with a 15V~28VDC 107 watt power supply. It also has a built-in Watchdog Timer to reset the system after a crash or system error. Moreover, the eBOX639-822-FL supports various embedded operating systems including Windows® CE, Windows® XP Embedded (XPE), and Linux.

This RoHS compliant product will be available around early August, 2008.
