Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) announced that it has extended the capabilities of its 150 CRZ series of surface-mount aluminum capacitors to offer low impedance values, high capacitances and ripple currents, and 4-pin versions for high vibration capability. The 150 CRZ devices are available in five case sizes, ranging from 8mm by 8mm by 10mm to the larger 12.5mm by 12.5mm by 16mm. For enhanced performance and reliability, the capacitors offer very low impedance (Z) that is specified as low as 60mO at 100kHz, a high rated ripple current of 1007mA at +105°C, and a capacitance range from 33µF to 2200µF over a voltage range of 6.3V to 63V.

Vishay Intertechnology 150 CRZ series of surface-mount aluminum capacitorsA polarized aluminum electrolytic capacitor with a non-solid, self-healing electrolyte, the device's specifications make it ideally suited for filtering, smoothing, buffering, and voltage decoupling applications in automotive and industrial systems.

For high vibration capability, 150 CRZ capacitors with a 12.5-mm diameter are standard in 4-pin versions and feature a long life of 5000h at +105°C. 4-pin versions of 10-mm products are available on request.

The RoHS-compliant devices are charge- and discharge-proof, so there is no peak current limitation. The capacitors operate over an ambient temperature range of -55°C to +105°C.

The 150 CRZ devices are supplied in blister tape-on-reel packaging. Samples and production quantities are available now, with lead times of 15 weeks for larger orders. Pricing per piece ranges from 0.20 to 0.40 Euros.
