AXIOMTEK Announces PANEL6178 17-inch Industrial Flat Panel Monitor
AXIOMTEK, a leading supplier of applied computing platforms for advanced communication, industrial and human machine interface applications, introduces its new ultra slim industrial flat panel monitor, the PANEL6178, which is equipped with a 17-inch 300 nits SXGA TFT LCD and supports multi-signal inputs including DVI, VGA, S-Video, and Video. With a resistive-type touchscreen via USB or RS-232 interface and a screw-type AC-in power adopter, the stylish industrial-grade panel monitor is especially suitable for POI, POS, HMI, and media-display applications.
The unique plastic front bezel is NEMA 4/IP65 compliant to be designed to work in a wide range of environments and heavy-duty industrial fields. In the meanwhile, with the ultra slim mechanism design (65.4mm in thickness) and streamline figure, customers can easily set the PANEL6178 anywhere. The TFT LCD panel supports resolution up to 1024 x 768 pixels and great luminance at 300cd/m², and has a contrast ratio of 800:1. Mounting options include panel mount, wall mount, rack mount or VESA FPMPMI (Video Electronics Standards Association Flat Panel Monitor Physical Mounting Interface) mount.

We also provide a cost-effective alternative of featuring DVI and VGA interfaces only, the PANEL6178L. Users can select the model in accordance with application and budget. The PANEL6178 and PANEL6178L will be available in early July. We also have two new 15" ultra slim industrial LCD monitors, the PANEL6158 and PANEL6158L, both equipped 15-inch 250 nits XGA LCD and resistive-types touchscreen.
