TechInsights Announces Embedded Power Conference
TechInsights announced the debut of the Embedded Power Conference, September 17 and 18 at the Marriott Hotel in San Jose. The conference will address the critical power management issues that systems-level design engineers are facing such as excessive heat generated by today's high-powered systems, how software can increase efficiency and ways to save money by enhancing power/energy density and new solutions available.
The Embedded Power Conference will be organized into four educational tracks, including:
- Software: using software algorithms to reduce power; digital power techniques
- Managing heat: cooling options; proper airflow; thermal modeling; temperature sensing
- System-level and backplane supply power issues: hot-swap; distributed power; supplying multiple voltages
- Circuit-level power issues: increase power efficiency; minimize switching losses; power-estimation
