Cypress Semiconductor Corp. (NYSE:CY) announced that it will provide numerous training and education opportunities focusing on its PSoC® mixed-signal architecture and other programmable solutions at the 2008 Embedded Systems Conference in San Jose. Cypress will be exhibiting in booth 2218 at the McEnery Convention Center. Cypress will present 10-minute, theater-style presentations at regular intervals in the Cypress booth on designing with the PSoC architecture, CapSense(tm) touch sense interface solutions, EZ-Color(tm) intelligent lighting solutions, and on the HI-TECH C Pro Compiler for PSoC.
There will be four demo stations in the booth, featuring PSoC, CapSense, EZ-Color, and wireless solutions. Additionally, as part of the conference’s “Build Your Own Embedded System” self-paced classes, Cypress will teach a workshop entitled “Integrate Capacitive Sensing.” Participants will learn how to integrate a touch-sensitive interface on the provided embedded development board using Cypress’s CapSense solution. The workshop will be presented on Wednesday, April 16 at 5:00 p.m. and again on Friday, April 18 at 10:30 a.m.
