CommAgility Debuts AMC-D1F1-1200 Module for DSP-FPGA Signal Processing
CommAgility announced its AMC-D1F1-1200, a high-performance mid-size AdvancedMC module which includes a Texas Instruments (TI) TMS320C6455 digital signal processor (DSP) running at 1.2 GHz and a Virtex-4 FX100 FPGA from Xilinx. The new AMC-D1F1-1200 module is optimized for applications requiring high-end signal I/O bandwidth in a compact mid-height AMC form factor, such as wireless baseband, image processing, defense and aerospace. Using the fastest available DSP with a large FPGA enables an application to be balanced and optimized for the most effective use of resources and development time.
Lockheed Selects LDRA Tool Suite for Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle
Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMCO) has selected the LDRA tool suite to enable developers on the Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV) program to achieve its software development goals. Aimed at safely transferring astronauts to and from the International Space Station (ISS), the Moon, Mars and other destinations beyond low earth orbit (LEO), the Orion CEV is a state-of-the-art human space flight system. LDRA, the leading provider of automated software verification, will enable Orion developers to achieve the stringent safety-critical standards required to ensure safe transfer of the astronauts.
Design Automation Conference Announces Keynote Speakers
