ACROSSER Technology announced the AR-B5230 EPIC single board computer for Embedded systems, Transportation, Panel PC, or Digital Signage. The most important feature of the EPIC board is that all the locations of the connectors are specified, which means it is a standard form factor. You can easily upgrade the board if you have further performance requirements in the future, or you can connect a PCI-104 expansion card without any concern since the location and mounting holes are fixed.
AR-B5230 is also a small form factor board but with multiple connectors on the board edge. This may help to reduce the cable routing resulting in a smaller system. You can easily integrate the board in your system.
As a matter of course, choosing the Intel 915GME chipset allow you to use the economical priced DDRII memory, SATA interface HDD, and the Cost-effective CPU. Choose the AR-B5230 and you will see the benefit.
