Lambda Introduces ZPSA 20W, 40W, 60W AC-DC Power Supplies
The new ZPSA range of single output 20W, 40W and 60W AC-DC power supplies have been introduced by Lambda. All units within the new series boast a very low profile – the ZPSA20, for example, measures just 88.9 x 50.8 x 20.32mm – making them an ideal choice for applications ranging from video/audio routers, datacoms, point of sale equipment, low power LED signs and lighting.
The ZPSA20 series is available in standard output voltage configurations from 3.3V to 24VDC, whilst the ZPSA40 and ZPSA60 are available from 3.3V to 48VDC. Intermediate voltages for each series are available on request. The 40W and 60W models are industry standard 2′ x 4′ format (20W model is 2′ x 3.5′).
AC input range for the ZPSA20 is 85 to 264VAC, 47 to 63Hz or 120 to 225VDC. For the ZPSA40 and ZPSA60 series, the universal input is 90 to 264VAC, 47 to 63Hz. Designed to complement Lambda’s popular KPSA PCB mountable AC-DC power supply range, the ZPSA series is similarly rated for convection-cooled operation between 0 to 70ºC, with appropriate derating. Over voltage protection and short circuit protection are standard for all three series.
To maximise design-in flexibility, Lambda is making the units available in either an open board configuration with Molex connectors, or in a –P pinned version for PCB mounting to special order.
The ZPSA series meet EN61000-4 immunity and Class B EMI standards, and all models are CE-marked and safety approved to UL60950-1, CSA60950-1, and EN60950-1.
