DSM Computer will be presenting for the first time a fanless variant of its 19-inch Infinity® IPC “96M15801″ at embedded world 2008 in Hall 12, Booth 208. The industrial computer based on an Intel® Celeron® M (ULV) processor with 1.0 GHz clock rate is specified for the operating temperature range 0° to +45° C (without any additional plug-in cards).
The data can be stored on an integrated 2.5-inch EIDE quality hard disk with a capacity of 80 GB (or more). For the data storage on a compact flash card, the fanless computer does not need any rotating parts. The diskette drive and the CD/DVD-ROM can be connected externally using a USB 2.0 interface for which two connections are provided at both the front and the rear side. The system also provides two Gigabit-LAN connections.
As standard, the industrial PC is equipped with 256 MB DDR RAM, although, if required, the main memory can be expanded to a maximum capacity of 2 GB using two DDR slots.
The compact computer with dimensions 440 x 455 x 177 mm is constructed as a solid, high-quality rack for installation in 19-inch cabinets. The operating elements are located behind a lockable metal door. A 300 W power unit supplies the power.
If required, the robust “96M15801″ can be supplied with the DSM System Monitor Program DSMP®. This software permanently monitors the operating parameters, for example, the processor temperature, the supply voltage, and the status of the hard disks, and so increases the system availability. DSM Computer provides a two-year warranty for the CE-conform computer.
