ATEME to Showcase Products at Inter BEE 2007

ATEME(TM) SA (Bievres, France), the leading provider of MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 video compression solutions for broadcast and broadband, announced its highlight products for The International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition (Inter BEE), the leading professional show in Japan for audio, video, and communications.

Inter BEE is held in the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba City, Japan from 20 -22 November and ATEME will be demonstrating its latest MPEG-4 AVC broadcast solutions - including the acclaimed Kyrion® live H.264 encoder. ATEME may be found in Hall 7, Booth 7303.

Specifically, ATEME will be showcasing the following products and solutions:

  • ATEME File Encoder - intended for VOD applications. It produces MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 Professional Video Quality contents and can be easily integrated into workflow for automatic ingest. Output is compatible with iPod®, PlayStation3® and major STB
  • Live HD Encoding & Redundancy/Management solution with DataMiner(TM) and Kyrion
  • Kyrion® Live H.264 HD Encoder - Best picture quality from 4 Mbps to 40 Mbps - Multi-network capability
  • H.264 4:2:2 HD Encoding for contribution applications - Extra video quality and Unique High bitrate capable in a 1 RU rack

The Broadcast Equipment Exhibition, the original name of Inter BEE, was first held in 1965 by the National Association of Commercial Broadcasters in Japan (NAB-J) at the Invention Hall in Toranomon, Tokyo with some 12 companies exhibiting products. Today, Inter BEE attracts more 34,000 attendees and more than 730 exhibitors, making it one of the world's foremost events for professional broadcasting solutions.
