PrismTech Solutions Americas Forms to Serve Agencies, Prime Contractors

PrismTech Corporation announced the formation of PrismTech Solutions Americas, Inc., whose charter is to deliver high-performance, COTS-based middleware products and services to U.S. government agencies, programs and prime contractors.

Leveraging PrismTech’s leadership position in high-performance COTS middleware (e.g. its Spectra software defined radio and OpenSplice Data Distribution Service suites), PrismTech Solutions Americas will specifically serve rapidly growing Government markets for advanced and secure data processing and control systems, and communications solutions.

“PrismTech Solutions Americas is a key component in our overall strategy to address fast-growing market sectors,” said Keith Steele, CEO of PrismTech Corporation. “Government markets for high-performance middleware and related professional services that support the deployment of technologies such as software defined radio represent a large opportunity for PrismTech. To respond to our customers we have invested substantially over time to develop the right technologies, the right experts, and the right solutions and now we have the right delivery mechanism to serve sensitive, security conscious, Government programs.”

PrismTech Solutions Americas will work directly with agencies or will partner with prime contractors to provide solutions tailored for the requirements of specific programs, but based on COTS technologies. This approach takes advantage of the economies-of-scale of COTS products, but at the same time delivers program-specific and secure solutions.

David Baumgarten has been named President of PrismTech Solutions Americas. He formerly served as Vice President, Professional Services, PrismTech Corporation. He has more than 20 years of executive and strategic leadership experience. The Company also recently added two new board members, Colonel (Ret.)
