CoFluent Design, an Electronic System Level (ESL) company focused on delivering state-of-the-art software solutions for early system architecture exploration and performance analysis, announced that it has joined the Open SystemC(TM) Initiative (OSCI) as Associate Corporate Member and The SPIRIT Consortium(TM) as Reviewing Member.
CoFluent Design has been using the SystemC technology from its inception as simulation engine for CoFluent Studio(TM), its visual ESL architecture development environment. Graphical models captured with CoFluent Studio are automatically translated into SystemC code based on CoFluent Studio’s Message Level Modeling (MLM) library that sits on top of TLM v1.0 and SystemC 2.1 libraries.
The high abstraction MLM, equivalent to a Transactional Level 3, offers rapid and early behavioral, architecture and performance modeling & analysis capabilities.
CoFluent Studio is used by leading System-on-Chip (SoC) and wireless device & equipment manufacturers for its ability to provide them with unique design architecture exploration and prediction of system performances at the earliest stage of their developments.
By joining OSCI, CoFluent Design further engages in support of the industry standard for the modeling and simulation of electronic systems at the system level.

CoFluent Studio provides today the ability to create Intellectual Property (IP) models for capitalization and reuse of behaviors and architectures at the system-level. CoFluent Design’s customers capture their system design know-how in CoFluent IP models providing pre-calibrated sub-system functions.
By reusing and assembling those ESL IP components within CoFluent Studio, they greatly accelerate the exploration of new efficient and innovative architectures.
