Lanner Electronics Inc, a designer and manufacturer of applied computing platforms for gaming control applications, is pleased to announce the addition of the IAC-GME01, a second generation I/O control module for electronic gaming machines. The IAC-GME series controller delivers a total IO solution – connectivity, data protection and security – to enable customers to build sophisticated gaming solutions for casino and other electronics gaming applications.
The IAC-GME01 I/O control module connects to a processor board – embedded PC or motherboard – via a USB 2.0 / 1.1 interface. Together with a motherboard, the IAC-GME01 provides the core hardware platform for any electronic gaming device.
Main features of the IAC-GME01 include:
- 2MB battery backed SRAM
- Battery backed microprocessor and real-time clock
- Triple-DES data encryption
- Dallas iButton and Smart Card interface
- Supports ccTalk and HII protocols
- Serial communication ports (RS-232/422/485/SPI/TTL)
- 16 channel outputs (0.7A), 16 channel TTL digital IO
- USB 2.0 mainboard to module interface
- Dual 5W stereo audio amplifier
- Configurable 8-bit DIL switch
- Windows XP/XPe, Linux Drivers
The IAC-GME builds on Lanner experience as a manufacturer of industrial computing platforms. As such, this gaming I/O control module is designed for environmentally rugged conditions. The IAC-GME gaming controller also comes with long-life supply support.
