Xilinx, Inc. (Nasdaq: XLNX), the world’s leading provider of programmable logic solutions, announced the expansion of its Titanium Dedicated Engineering service, providing all Xilinx customers throughout North America and Europe with full time access to a dedicated engineer. Originally developed for only a handful of customers, Xilinx has expanded the program through the addition of over a dozen highly-skilled engineers who provide customers with expert design advice and optimized solutions. Titanium engineers work directly with customer design teams and focus on resolving specific customer design challenges, resulting in faster time-to-market and lower overall production costs.
“FPGAs are fast becoming a serious alternative to ASICs as designers continue the quest for a more flexible and cost effective solution,” said Jane Vaillancourt, vice president of Corporate Sales and Services at Xilinx. “Customers requiring FPGA expertise can rely on Xilinx Titanium engineers to easily integrate with their design teams, acting as trusted advisors to solve their specific design challenges.”
Titanium engineers bring expertise in such key areas as embedded integration, performance optimization, timing closure, architectural design, debug and tool usage. In addition, Titanium Engineers are ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) certified for sensitive engagements and available for rapid deployment to work at the customer site or remotely, depending on customer needs.
