UCSC Teams with TTM, Cadence on VLSI Design Training in India

University of California Extension, Santa Cruz (UCSC Extension), U.S.A., has partnered with TTM and Cadence Design Systems (I) Pvt. Ltd, the Indian arm of Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CDNS) to offer a certificate program in VLSI design engineering in New Delhi, India for the first time after the success of the branches in Hyderabad and Bangalore.

As a leader in VLSI Design Engineering training, UCSC Extension has joined with partners in India to bring a comprehensive training program to students there to support the growing semiconductor industry in India. TTM Institute of Information Technology
TTM Institute of Information Technology (TIIT) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Time To Market Inc, U.S.A. Since 1999, TIIT has trained more than 700 VLSI professionals. New groups are starting year-round. New classes are scheduled for Hyderabad, Bangalore and Delhi this year.

Certificate Program in VLSI Design Engineering
TIIT, in collaboration with UCSC Extension in Silicon Valley and Cadence Design Systems, offers a certificate program in VLSI design engineering. Students who complete the required courses with a minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) will be awarded a certificate in VLSI design engineering (physical design or logic design) from UCSC Extension in Silicon Valley.

Cadence
