Xilinx Adds Hardent to Worldwide Authorized Training Provider Program

Xilinx(R), Inc. (Nasdaq: XLNX), the world's leading provider of programmable chips, announced the expansion of its Worldwide Authorized Training Provider (ATP) Program, adding Hardent Inc. as its second provider in North America, and 22nd in the world. As demand grows around the globe for training on its connectivity, DSP, embedded, and logic design solutions, Xilinx has brought Hardent into its ATP network to meet the needs of FPGA users in Quebec, Eastern Canada and New England.

"Training has become increasingly important for unleashing the power of the newest FPGAs like the Virtex(TM)-5 platform FPGAs," said Simon Robin, president of Hardent. In addition to FPGA design, Hardent offers a full range of services including ASIC, digital and analog hardware, and PCB design (CAD) as well as signal integrity analysis to enable its clients to focus on their core competencies. Hardent will be the Xilinx ATP for Maine, Massachusetts, New Brunswick, New Hampshire, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Rhode Island and Vermont.

As part of Xilinx Education Services, the Worldwide ATP Program enables Xilinx to deliver training when and where a customer needs it by leveraging a global network of Authorized Training Providers and online learning systems. Classes are offered at over 110 locations around the world. The Xilinx Education Services program provides targeted high quality education products and services designed by experts in programmable logic design and delivered by Xilinx qualified trainers. The Xilinx Education Services program offers courses at all levels of programmable logic design and creates an engaging learning environment by blending lecture, hands-on labs, interactive discussions, tips, and best practices.
