Kontron, the leading Embedded Computing Technology provider, is proud to release its latest Fanless Box PC, the KUBE-8010. Designed specifically for space-constrained applications requiring high performance with fanless operation, the KUBE-8010 utilizes an Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor up to 1.8GHz with Intel(R) 855GME/ICH4 chipset on a Mini-ITX main board. Its compact dimensions (80×188.7x300mm) computing power, and quiet reliable operation make the KUBE-8010 the ideal Box PC for complex tasks in limited space environments such as measurement, control, operations, and visualization.
The KUBE-8010 with Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor provides optimized power consumption, while the thermal solution is integrated into the aluminum chassis which acts as a heat sink. I/O features include six serial ports, four USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet 10/100, and AC’97 audio. Storage is provided by one 3.5″ hard drive bay and CompactFlash slot. Dual display video with VGA and 24-bit dual channel LVDS output meet the demands of the markets such as POS, Kiosk, gaming, and medical instrumentation. Additional functional expansion is possible via an externally accessible Mini PCI slot.
The new Kontron KUBE-8010 will enhance your productivity with its high performance, industrial-grade construction, scalable design, and comprehensive I/O feature set. For applications not requiring the power and connectivity of the KUBE-8010, its sister model the KUBE-8000 features the ULV Intel(R) Celeron(R) M processor at 600MHz. Also a fanless design, the KUBE-8000 offers the best performance/cost ratio in a compact embedded box PC. Both models are available immediately and come with Kontron’s long-life product support.
