Avnet Announces On-Ramp Power Supply Management Training Seminars
Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, a division of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), announces plans to offer a new half-day On-Ramp Technical Session(TM) to provide digital design engineering professionals insight to power supply management. At the On-Ramp Technical Sessions, Avnet field applications engineers will spend a half day sharing practical power supply design techniques, demonstrating how digital designers can address DC/DC power requirements and identify how designers can meet board- and system-level power needs. The seminar includes insight on component selection, power concerns for digital loads, and printed circuit board layout and measurement techniques.
“Our customers are looking for in-depth, technology-based training. As a distributor, Avnet is in a unique position to provide comprehensive supplier-agnostic workshops delivering a level of technical support not available through other channels,” said Marc Gsand, vice president of marketing at Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas.
The On-Ramp Technical Sessions will take place starting Sept. 5 through Nov. 6 throughout North America. These workshops are offered free of charge to Avnet customers.
