Arrow Offers Development Systems for Integrating Motorola MicroTCA

The North American Components (NAC) business of Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW) announced the availability of development systems that integrate Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) MicroTCA(TM) products for North American customers. The development systems are designed to help engineers speed the building and testing of their network with an application-ready platform.

"Arrow and Motorola have a long history of bringing innovative technology to the embedded computing industry," said Bob Behn, vice president, Marketing, Arrow North American Components. "Through this alliance, our customers should benefit with application-ready solutions that will enable them to get their products to market more quickly."

With first shipments already underway, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) can obtain immediate access to a customizable system platform to accelerate their telecommunications, defense and aerospace, and healthcare applications. Arrow integrates Motorola's MicroTCA communications server technology for solutions tailored to meet customers' specific requirements.
