Posted by EDA Geek News Staff in Test Solution on Wednesday, July 11, 2007

ADLINK introduces the DAQe-2208, a 96-CH 12-bit 3 MS/s ultra high-density analog input data acquisition card, combining high-density with high-bandwidth via an x1 PCI Express bus. This high-end card is capable of sampling up to 96 single-ended AI channels with different gain settings and scan sequences and offering differential modes for 48 AI channels to provide optimal noise elimination, making it compatible with ultra high-density analog signals with various input ranges and sampling speeds. The DAQe-2208 is ideal for data logging and signal analysis application requiring large amount of input channels and data transferring. The DAQe-2208 features also include analog and digital triggering and 24 programmable digital I/O lines.

ADLINK DAQe-2208 96-CH PCI Express Analog Input DAQ CardLike all ADLINK PCI Express data acquisition cards, the DAQe-2208 offers an SSI (system synchronization interface) bus to allow up to four cards to be synchronized for simplified expansion of testing capabilities, auto-calibration that adjusts the gain and offset to within specified parameters to ensure testing accuracy regardless of the environment uncertainty, and scatter-gather bus mastering to allow the acquisition of large amounts of data at a high speed by transferring data directly to an from the memory through the DMA controller. The DAQe-2208 supports Microsoft(R) Windows(R), including Windows Vista(TM), and Linux operating systems and also comes with software support for LabVIEW(TM), MATLAB(R), .NET, Visual C++, and Visual Basic.

Price and Availability
The DAQe-2208 is available now and is competitively priced starting at $1,095 and is available with discounts in volume.
