DSM Computer Introduces 19-inch 1U Industrial Computer

DSM Computer's 19-inch 1U industry computer from the Infinity Family "96M15831" is predestined for industrial applications that demand maximum performance but where installation space is limited. The IPC can also be equipped with a slot CPU based on DSM's "Modular World" concept. This CPU contains a fast Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor with 2.16 GHz clock frequency and the Intel(R) 945GM chip set. The main memory can be expanded to have a maximum capacity of 4 GB. Further configurations based on the Slot CPU technology with various CPU performance levels, such as Intel(R) Pentium III, Pentium 4, Celeron M and Pentium M, and also customer-specific adaptations can be realized. The main operational areas of the flat industry computer are for measuring engineering, telecommunications and automation.

PDSi Expands in Israeli with Startronics

CSR Improves in-Car Bluetooth with nFore's Audio, Speech Enhancements

CSR (LSE:CSR) announced that a range of speech and audio enhancement technologies have been added to CSR's BlueCore5-Multimedia silicon to improve the quality of in-car Bluetooth applications. CSR has selected nFore's software to bring noise and echo cancellation and music enhancements specifically for in-car Bluetooth solutions. nFore's technology comes via CSR's eXtension Partner Programme, an open DSP developers' programme which brings a host of third party software enhancements to the BlueCore5-Multimedia platform.
