PrismTech(TM), a leader in high-performance middleware and development tools, announced that it ended its Fiscal Year (ending March 2007) with more than 200 contract “wins”. The company’s overall growth met high corporate expectations and was enabled by numerous marquee contract wins and upgraded renewals. In addition, PrismTech continued to invest heavily for future growth with significant enhancements to its product suites, and key additions to its executive and technical staff.
A key factor in the company’s best year to date was new business with prime contractors within the military / aerospace / government (MAG) sector and leading OEMs in commercial telecoms.

PrismTech’s Spectra(TM) Software Communications Architecture (SCA) products continue to provide the most complete software-defined radio (SDR) environment for MAG radio OEMs. Furthermore all of PrismTech’s middleware lines comply with proven open standards and are supported by highly-productive, Eclipse-based, model driven development tools. These enhanced product suites continue PrismTech’s tradition of providing best-in-class software development and deployment solutions for its customers; numerous Fortune ‘Global 500′ companies, such as: Alcatel-Lucent, CISCO, Ericsson, Nokia Siemens Networks, Samsung, Boeing, EADS, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Rockwell Collins, Selex and Thales.
The company also added several key executives and technical experts to its management team, including Professor Douglas Schmidt as CTO – a leading authority on distributed, Real-time and embedded computing.
