VaST Systems and Infineon Technologies have reached an agreement that expands the use of VaST products and includes distribution of Virtualized Hardware to Infineon customers. The Wireless Business Unit has achieved substantial reductions in development time for leading edge products. VaST solutions are now being expanded to Infineon Automotive and Communication business units and their respective key customers.

"With embedded system hardware and software complexity growing at exponential rates, it is imperative that Infineon delivers high performance development solutions and products to enable end customer success. VaST tools are production proven and play an increasingly important role in architecture optimization, software development, and system verification," said Dr. Christoph Kutter, Senior VP of Products and Systems, Infineon Technologies.

"Infineon has pioneered the use of virtual prototyping technology with the goal of providing virtualized hardware to their customers. Now this Virtualization across the supply-chain is a reality. We will augment our strong partnership with Infineon to enable end-customer success," said Alain Labat, CEO of VaST.
