Agilent Rolls Out Half-Height GPIB Interface PCIe Card

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) introduced a PCIe-GPIB half-height interface card for compact next-generation PCs that harnesses the fast data transfer rate of PCI Express to support high-bandwidth PC applications.

"With the introduction of the 82351A, Agilent offers 13 high-performance connectivity solutions," said Ee Huei Sin, vice president and general manager of Agilent's Basic Instruments Division. "The Agilent 82351A is another example of our commitment to provide continually improved solutions that use the latest technology enhancements."

The Agilent 82351A PCIe-GPIB interface card provides a 1.4 MB/s data rate in a 68.9 mm (half-height) plug-in card. It also provides the flexibility of up-plugging, which makes it possible to fit the x1 82351A card into an x4 or x8 slot.
