Extreme DA(TM) will exhibit its new-generation timing sign-off solution, GoldTime(TM), in Exhibit and Suite 1561 at the 44th Design Automation Conference (DAC), June 4-8, 2007 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif. Hands-on Tutorial on “Timing Closure: Requirements for Variation Aware Design”
Presented by Extreme DA, PDF Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: PDFS), Texas Instruments (NYSE: TXN), and UMC (NYSE: UMC; TAIEX: 2303), the hands-on tutorial on “Timing Closure: Requirements for Variation Aware Design” will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in Room 11A in the Convention Center.

Tutorial Summary:
The components of a next-generation timing analysis methodology will be introduced and demonstrated. Participants will view practical methodology examples beginning with front-end and back-end process characterization that captures variability statistics of systematic and random variations. Experiences from the Foundry, IDM, and EDA industries will provide complete coverage of timing closure issues. The use of the extracted variability data in the library characterization, RC extraction, timing analysis, and optimization flows will be demonstrated.
