EmbeddedPlus Integrates Telelogic DOORS with IBM Rational Rose

Posted by EDA Geek News Staff in UML on Tuesday, May 22, 2007

EmbeddedPlus Engineering announced general availability of product support for integrating industry-standard Telelogic DOORS(R) requirements with the widely-used IBM Rational Rose and Rose Technical Developer (Rose RealTime) UML modeling solutions.

Based on the core technology of their innovative DoorKeeper for the IBM Rational Software Delivery Platform, which links DOORS to IBM Rational’s Eclipse-based modeling tools, this product brings the same capabilities to users of Rose and Rose RealTime. The ability to access DOORS requirements and Rose or Rose RealTime models from the same user interface provides a user friendly and powerful linking mechanism allowing for automated two-way traceability.

“Rose and Rose RealTime continue to be very popular modeling tools and the projects they are used on continue to face growing demand for requirements traceability,” says EmbeddedPlus Director of Product Development Cory Bialowas. “By leveraging new Eclipse-based technology we can provide highly usable integration capabilities and save projects considerable effort in achieving traceability.”

In addition, users of this product have a no-cost path forward when migrating from Rose to IBM Rational’s Eclipse-based modeling tools.
