The HyperTransport(TM) Technology Consortium will present a live webcast, "Validation and Compliance Testing Strategies for HyperTransport 3.0 Design," highlighting the main concepts and strategies behind validation and compliance testing of HyperTransport 3.0 silicon and systems, and preparing teams to rapidly bring these designs to market.

Presenters for the May 17th broadcast will be:

  • Perry Keller – Agilent, Program Manager for Applications and Standards, Design Verification Systems Division
  • Mario Cavalli – HyperTransport Consortium, General Manager

The HyperTransport(TM) Technology Consortium is a non-profit industry organization that manages and promotes HyperTransport technology, the industry's lowest latency, highest bandwidth interconnect technology With an aggregate bandwidth of 41.6 GB/s, HyperTransport 3.0 delivers the performance required for chip-to-chip, board-to-board and chassis-to-chassis applications in supercomputing and data center environments. Using an industry-standard approach, designers can achieve greater business efficiency and lower total cost of ownership when developing compute-intensive systems.

The live webcast will take place on Thursday, May 17, at 10 a.m. pacific time. Afterwards, it will be available on demand from the TechOnLine and the HyperTransport Consortium archives.
