Workshop for Women in Design Automation Announces Student Sponsorship

The Workshop for Women in Design Automation (WWINDA), part of the 44th Design Automation Conference (DAC) to be held at the San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, California, June 4–8, 2007, announced that its student sponsorship program will enable graduate students to attend the workshop and DAC thanks to the generous support of key members of the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) community. These sponsorships cover travel and workshop registration, and have been awarded to six graduate students in electrical engineering, computer science, and computer engineering from U.C. Berkeley, U.C. San Diego, University of Pittsburgh, and Stanford. The WWINDA student sponsorship supporters include Cadence Design Systems, EDA Confidential, Magma Design Automation and Mentor Graphics.

Calypto to Demonstrate Power Optimization, Verification Tools at DAC

IEEE Council on EDA Hosts Events at DAC

The IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation (CEDA) will host a reception and Distinguished Speaker Lecture during the 44th Design Automation Conference (DAC) Monday, June 4, starting at 6 p.m. in the Sails Pavilion at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif. This networking event and interactive technical presentation, which includes a light dinner, is open to all.
