Agilent Creates New Automotive Electronics Test System
Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE:A) introduced an addition to its TS-5000 family of automotive electronics functional test systems: a system built to test all infotainment and telematic modules in cars. The Agilent TS-5030 supports recent trends of information and entertainment electronics integration into today’s automobiles, extending the TS-5000 family’s test capabilities beyond safety electronics and body control modules to infotainment electronics.
It is designed to test:
- Simple AM/FM components
- State-of-the-art Digital Audio Broadcasting systems
- In-car Bluetooth(r)-compatible applications, such as the synchronization of a handheld mobile phone to the infotainment module, allowing drivers to make and answer calls
- The popular in-car GPS (Global Positioning System), which helps drivers locate their destinations from their vehicles
- In-car mobile device functional testing, such as GSM and CDMA
Equipped with audio load test capability with expandable and customizable channels, the Agilent TS-5030 gives manufacturers the flexibility to specify the audio load they desire.
