Lynguent(R) Inc. and DOLPHIN Integration SA will integrate their best-in-class modeling and simulation solutions and provide them to designers of analog/mixed-signal (AMS) integrated circuits (ICs). Lynguent’s innovative ModLyng(tm) Integrated Modeling Environment is a unique graphical tool for developing AMS behavioral models. ModLyng will create models tuned for DOLPHIN Integration’s single-kernel SMASH(tm) product for mixed-signal simulation. Developers using SMASH with ModLyng will benefit from accelerated development schedules and the tools’ expert feedback for improvements in behavioral simulation. The integrated tools will expand the deployment of the VHDL-AMS and Verilog-AMS standard hardware description languages (HDLs) supported by ModLyng and SMASH.
The companies will demonstrate their newest products at DATE, here in the Acropolis, on April 17 – 19, 2007. Lynguent will be in booth R51 and DOLPHIN Integration will be in booth R49.
ModLyng is the industry’s first tool for analog/mixed-signal (AMS) design that incorporates an easy-to-use graphical user interface; is language- and platform-independent; and removes significant barriers to the re-use of models. ModLyng helps semiconductor and systems companies save weeks in IC development time, which can improve a company’s bottom-line by hundreds of thousands of dollars per design project. ModLyng was developed for members of AMS design teams performing design and semiconductor device modeling, and for IC signal integrity engineers, IP developers, and librarians.
Founded in 2001, privately-held Lynguent, Inc. of Portland, Oregon, U.S.A., supplies integrated AMS design development products to the global semiconductor and electronics industries. Customers use Lynguent tools and services to create, maintain, re-use, debug, and validate analog/mixed-signal (AMS) models and related technology. Lynguent helps customers accelerate time-to-market for a wide range of state-of-the-art ICs and electronic systems.
About DOLPHIN Integration SA
Founded in 1985, DOLPHIN Integration SA is a lasting actor in the ever-changing design industry in Microelectronics, deeply involved in the process of its accelerating de-verticalization. As the “Enabler of Mixed Signal Systems-on-Chip”, DOLPHIN not only contributes the most complete multi-lingual simulator, SMASH, starring VHDL-AMS, but also provides the crucial IP methods and Virtual Components for high-performance hierarchical design.
