National Technical Systems Inc., (NASDAQ: NTSC) (NTS), a leading provider of test and engineering services, announced that it has entered into an agreement with Eaton Corporation to utilize their Southfield, Michigan vibration laboratory. This agreement allows NTS' Detroit, Michigan laboratory to service Eaton and significantly expand its test capabilities.

"Managing testing laboratories is NTS' core business. The experience and expertise we have gained over the years allows us to offer in-house laboratory management for organizations like Eaton," stated Dwight Moore, NTS Chief Operating Officer. "This service gives Eaton the testing and evaluation services they need, on-site when they are needed, while eliminating the profit drain of an under utilized laboratory."

Under the agreement, NTS Detroit will provide Eaton's Southfield facility with on-site testing services. In addition, NTS will manage Eaton's 4,600 square-foot test facility enabling the company to expand its vibration test capabilities by 40 percent, and increase chamber capacity by approximately 20 percent.

"This arrangement is a win-win situation for NTS and Eaton," says Robert Rogers, General Manager of NTS Detroit. "We are very excited about our new arrangement. This is a valuable opportunity for us to provide increased capabilities to our current and future customers."
