Intercept Technology, Inc., a leader in advanced PCB/Hybrid/RF electrical engineering applications, and DesignAdvance Systems, Inc., a leading developer of innovative design automation software, announced that they have entered into a partnership to integrate Intercept Technology’s printed circuit board (PCB) layout software, Pantheon, with DesignAdvance’s PCB placement design and automation technology, CircuitSpace(TM). The integration of Pantheon and CircuitSpace will make it possible for PCB designers to automatically cluster and locally place components in the Pantheon layout environment.
“CircuitSpace, with its innovative new technology, is becoming an integral component within the leading PCB design flow,” said Steve Klare, founder and CEO of Intercept Technology, Inc. “Our partnership with DesignAdvance reflects our strategy to team with expert partners to provide integrated solutions that increase productivity for our customers.”
“Partnering with Intercept is a direct response to customers’ requests for integrated solutions within multiple design environments of the PCB design flow,” said Edward Pupa, CEO of DesignAdvance. “Together, we will continue to improve user-assisted automation in what has traditionally been a manual process of PCB component placement.”
About Intercept Technology, Inc.
Intercept Technology Inc. is a privately held electronic systems design and software development corporation based in Atlanta, Georgia. It’s flagship layout product, Pantheon, was initially introduced in the mid-90′s and quickly made Intercept a market leader in its ability to facilitate the completion of RF, Hybrid, MCM, Analog, Digital, and Mixed-Signal designs within a single application. Today, Intercept offers a complete design flow with Mozaix schematic capture, INDX library management, and a suite of third-party database translators to provide a streamlined migration path from other vendors’ environments. As an engineering company that is technology driven and customer oriented, Intercept strives to offer advanced design applications with the flexibility users need. To that end, all Intercept applications are ASCII based and run native on all computing platforms, while customer software requests are incorporated in a rapid release cycle, providing users the benefit of leading-edge technology in real time.
