Lanner Electronics Inc, a global leader in applied computing hardware, announced the addition of the IAC-H672 SBC equipped with a VIA Mark processor and both PC104 and PC104+ expansion capabilities. The IAC-H672 is a low power SBC that offers an exceptional and cost-effective upgrade path for multi purpose embedded applications requiring ISA bus, extensible features, and rich I/O capability.
“Market demand for PC/104 and PC/104+ SBCs grew by over 15% in 2006, and system designers continue to create new applications on this long established standard,” remarked Robert Kuo, Lanner’s Senior Product Manager. “The IAC-H672 fills this market demand by allowing engineers to design systems with both PC104 and PC104+ expansion capacity.”
The IAC-H672 is built around the VIA MARK 533/800 MHz processor with built-in Northbridge that reduces board real estate by up to 15% in a single fanless package. Other features of IAC-H672 include integrated graphics with 3D support, dual simultaneous display capability, SODIMM support up to 512MB of SDRAM, and 10/100 Ethernet. Four USB 2.0 compliant ports, two COM ports and Compact Flash card for embedded OS support makes this SBC ideal for multimedia applications including digital signage, surveillance and automation control.
Lanner’s IAC-H672 ISA SBC is the first choice platform for system designers looking to protect their legacy investment while adding more features and performance to existing applications.
The IAC-H672 is available for immediate evaluation and trial order. Please contact your Lanner sales representative or email email@example.com for pricing and availability.
