DSM Computer Introduces Compact 19-inch Industrial PC with PCI Express
The 96M1584D 2 U industrial computer from DSM Computer's 19-inch Infinity(R) range is now available in PCI Express(TM) version. In accordance with the PICMG 1.3 standard, the backplane provides one PCI Express(TM) x1 slot, one PCI Express(TM) x16 slot and two PCI slots. This now enables even the new, fast graphics cards to be integrated into innovative industrial systems.
The industry PC is based on the Celeron(R) M Intel(R) processor with a clock frequency of 1.5 GHz and the Intel(R) 915GM GMA 900 chipset. As an option, the 96M1584D can also be equipped with a fast Intel(R) Pentium(R) M with 2.26 GHz. The standard 512 MB main memory can be extended to a capacity of 2 GB using additional DDR2 RAMs (SO DIMM).
There is a 250 GB SATA branded hard disk (or larger) for the storage of large amounts of data. A 3.5-inch floppy disk drive and a high-quality DVD-ROM branded drive provide additional storage options. Rapid and reliable data exchange is possible via a dual Gigabit LAN10/100/1000 Base-T/TX PCIe network connection.
The 432 x 431 x 88 mm compact industrial computer is available in a high-quality rack for installation in a 19-inch cabinet or as a desktop for deployment in tough industrial environments. The system can be supplied in all RAL and NCS colors and if required with a customer-specific company logo. DSM Computer provides a one-year guarantee for the CE-certified IPC.
The industry PC can optionally be supplied with DSMP PC condition monitoring software for the permanent monitoring of operating parameters, for example processor temperature, supply voltage, fan speed and hard disk state. It assists in significantly increasing system availability, as possible faults in the hardware and software can be detected at an early stage, before an outage occurs. The execution of necessary service work during the service life leads to significant cost savings in industrial operations.
